Some more ‘stop and stare’

With the weather warming, drying and a bit sunny, another ‘drop a pin in the Tube map’ gives loads of ideas for some more ‘stopping and staring’ – so here goes…

Battersea bridge – best blue sky of the day
Battersea Power Station
The colours of the bricks are not different – a trick of the light!
Peace pagoda – Battersea Park
And the park is in full Spring blossom!
Not an ocean liner – just urban regeneration
A (random) bus ride away – Achilles in Hyde Park
And the 7th July memorial
Commemorating the horses and men of the Cavalry in WW1 and WW2
And finally – the Joy of Life fountain in Hyde Park (but no water!)

It’s great to have the time to stop and stare and seek out some of the more unusual sights!
